The original (and I mean ORIGINAL) version of an old song I made way back in the day. The album version was available on the, now defunct, "Alone Road" album. (When I manage to find .mp3s of the original album, I will definitely post them up here.) The song was first worked on back in 2008, back when I released "Restart" under the GrunnyLex moniker. I created the sample from "Bluff Spirit" off of the We Love Katamari soundtrack, and I liked it so much that this was the first song I actually wanted to put effort into creating. I thought "Yes. This is the kind of stuff I want to be making". Eventually, I created the demo version of the song, which was essentially the sample and some instrumentation thrown in. This track (the version available here) was built upon from the original demo, adding more elements and structure to the already brilliant song. When the time came for me to make an album, this song was the very first thing that popped into my mind. So, I took all of the samples, re-arranged them entirely, and formed the brilliant version that appeared on my first album. This was essentially the original "M.G.R." of my early career.
